Is there a fit?

It’s about a match - you may be reaching for the moon, but unless that’s what our investors wish to invest in, there won’t be a fit. So that’s the first thing we assess. We look at a 3 tier metric: founder & opportunity; GTM; Scaleup in DNA.

Do we understand each other?

If it’s an initial match, we almost always like to deep dive with the entrepreneur to mutually get to understand each other better. This stage is qualitative as well as quantitative- people, process, data, proof of performance matter.

Pre-investment consensus

Here’s where it boils down to numbers from past, present and future. Often face to face with investors who take the lead in funding - this stage is about mutual consensus on value versus valuation.

Enter the relationship

If we successfully cross the first three stages, we reach the fruit. This step indicates closure of our investors’ deal and indicates a new beginning on post-capital relationships between us and the new entrepreneur.
